In the United States in 2009, the number of people living polyamorous was estimated at half a million, according to Jessica Bennett @jess7bennett in The Daily Beast: Only You. And You. And You. (Jul 28, 2009)
For my homecountry, Germany, there are no reliable numbers yet, as Polyamory is relatively new for us. Estimates vary around 10.000, but it might well be many more, as it is not yet as common in germany to come out as poly as it is, or is becomng, in the USA. and of course, it always depends on how you define being poly. I have put forth an unusual approach in this article. What do you think? Leave a comment here (please scroll down to end of page) or send me a question through the contact form or the FAQ.
